As HVAC Mechanic Technicians we (Reefer Geeks) are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning systems in residential, Commercial and industrial settings. Reefer Geeks a company of KBM LLC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation: Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation systems, ensuring they are set up according to specifications and safety standards.

  • Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This includes cleaning ducts, changing filters, and checking for leaks.

  • Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, replacing or repairing defective parts as necessary. Respond to emergency calls for HVAC issues.

  • Inspection: Inspect and test HVAC systems and components for efficiency and safety, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including the type and cost of services provided.

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients and addressing your concerns.

OUR Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as HVAC Mechanical technicians with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, with knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC equipment.

  • Certifications: EPA Universal Certification along with any state-specific licenses for HVAC work.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with you as the customer.

  • Physical Ability: Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment.
